Six Month Smile

While Six Month Smiles won’t be suitable for all our patients looking to straighten their teeth, we’ll be able to find the right treatment for you during a consultation here at Vogue Dental. Six Month Smiles is very good at addressing crowded and overlapping teeth, as well as gaps in the teeth.

It can also address crossbites, overbites and underbites, openbites – this is when your teeth don’t touch when you bite down, and overjets – when the front upper teeth protrude outwards. Because of how quickly you can see results, Six Month Smiles is also great for patients who are strapped for time.

After an initial consultation during which we’ll determine which is the right course of treatment for you, you’ll then come back into the practice to have impressions or digital scans taken of your mouth. This will then be sent off to a trusted dental laboratory where your brace will be made using the Six Month Smiles patient tray kit technique.

Once ready, you’ll return to Vogue Dental, and we’ll apply the braces to the appropriate teeth. During treatment, you’ll come into the practice so we can check on your progress and make any adjustments needed once a month. Once the braces have worked their magic, we’ll be able to remove the clear braces and reveal your brand new, straighter smile.

Yes, we recommend wearing a retainer after any and all orthodontic treatment. This is to stop the teeth from moving back to their original position and so you can successfully maintain your new straighter smile.
