For a smile that lasts, and dentures that feel almost as good as the real thing, we recommend implant retained dentures.
Designed to restore missing or soon to extracted teeth, implant retained dentures work in a similar way to traditional dentures. Instead of being fixed in place with a dental adhesive, however, they are held in place by implants that are placed in the jaw. This makes for a much more comfortable and secure experience for the patient, as well as a much more natural looking and aesthetically pleasing finish.

Questions you may have about this treatment
We’ll be able to take you through all the options available to you when it comes to replacement and restoration at a consultation with us here at Vogue Dental. Implant retained dentures are suitable in every situation, but they do offer a wide range of benefits for the wearer.
Whether you are replacing missing teeth or your current dentures, implant retained dentures can help improve your bite and comfort, ensuring you can easily eat the food you may have missed due to missing teeth or ill-fitting dentures.
Implant retained dentures can also help maintain bone density in the jaw, which in turn can help keep the face looking younger for longer. They are also much easier to take care of than traditional dentures – you can simply look after implants as you would your natural teeth, and there is none of the extra care or paraphernalia needed with traditional dentures.
The treatment journey for implant retained dentures can take several months, and various appointments here with us at Vogue Dental. The benefit of being treated here with us, is that these appointments can all take place under one roof thanks to our team of specialists.
You will first have an X-ray or CBCT scan to determine your suitability for the treatment, and then you’ll come into have your implants place. For this, we can arrange for sedation or local anaesthetic, leaving you feeling comfortable and at ease through the appointment.
There’ll then be a short wait while we allow time for the jawbone and implants to fuse together. During this time, we can place a temporary denture. Once the jaw and implant have fused together and the area is fully healed, we’ll be able to place your personal dentures.
Even if you are a patient at another dental practice, you can also register at Vogue Dental for any of our treatments. We have many patients who visit us from Bromley, Orpington, Sidcup, Foxbury, Avery Hill, Bexleyheath, Bexley, Beckenham, Elmstead, Swanley, Kent & the surrounding areas of London for all types of dental treatments.
