Cosmetic and restorative dentistry is constantly being improved and innovated, and one of the most important improvements in recent years has been the advent of digital design services. With these computer-based programmes, our expert team can design your new smile, giving you the chance to see the end result before we’ve even begun treatment.

This is a completely bespoke experience. Digital Smile Design is designed around you and allows us to build your smile in a way that reflects and complements not just the natural characteristics of your mouth and face, but your personality too.

While each treatment journey will be different, there are several stages to the Digital Smile Design process:

1. Enhanced Digital Photography – we will take a digital photo of your smile as currently is, so that you can show where and what you are unhappy with, and how you’d like it to change. This will help give our expert team and idea of where to start our treatment journey, and which treatments will help us create the smile you’re looking for.
2. Video Analysis – we’ll take a short video of you talking so that we can see your mouth in action and how your smile looks in general speech. This is an especially important part of the process and patients rarely see themselves speak in this way. It can therefore help clarify a picture of how you want your mouth and teeth to look and will help us better understand how to achieve this.
3. Smile Design Analysis – now knowing what your smile looks like currently, we can set about designing the smile you want to have in the future. This is the stage where you get to tell us how you want your smile to look. Using all the information we have gained in the first two stages, we can build a treatment plan that can make that dream smile your new reality.
