Crown Lengthening

While this oral surgery treatment requires great skill and dexterity on the part of our Kent dentist, crown lengthening itself is usually quick and can be achieved in just one appointment. At Vogue Dental in Chislehurst, we’ll apply local anaesthetic so you’re comfortable throughout the surgery, and we can also offer sedation should you feel more comfortable that way.

We’ll then shape and contour the gum surrounding the teeth, so that more of the surface of the natural tooth is left on display. In some cases, we may also have to shave some of the bone in order to reveal more of the tooth.
