Home Based Teeth Whitening

Home-based teeth whitening is a flexible, at-home treatment that works around you and your schedule. You’ll need to come into the practice to have your whitening trays made, but after that the treatment can be done on your own time.

In most cases, home-based teeth whitening can be done for just two weeks, but it does require you to wear your trays and gels for a couple of hours every day – or overnight, depending on which formula you have chosen.

You might experience a little discomfort when first wearing your trays, but you’ll soon get used to them. There is also a choice of gel formulas to choose from so even those with sensitive teeth should be able to find a formula that works for them.

This is difficult to predict as it varies from patient to patient, and between different treatment systems. Patients almost always feel much happier and more confident in their smile after a round of home-based teeth whitening.
